Philosophy

Calming busy thoughts and stressful feelings to rediscover clear a sense of grounded vitality often requires more than one approach to be effective and long lasting. Sheri brings together the tools of  cognitive, emotional, somatic,               addiction and trauma responsive practice with experiential mindfulness

in a way that  fits your personality, needs and goals.

We will explore these opportunities for change -

Stabilizing your mood by creating practices that build a steady foundation of calm strength and compassion.

Soothing & directing the energy and wisdom of powerful emotions

in the service of your growth and the  care of yourself and your loved ones.

Strengthening a secure base of healthy attachments and boundaries with loved ones.

Enhancing healthy choices, risk management, impulse control and problem solving.

Honoring and integrating grief and loss within a sense of appreciating the fullness of life.

Taking time for healthy self-soothing and rebuilding vitality to live a sober life with meaning and value.

Developing relational skills that deepen kind intimacy, vulnerability and interdependence.

Navigating powerful life transitions with greater ease and confidence.

Alleviating somatic distress with practices that welcome you home  to the

wisdom and strength of your body/mind.

Clarifying your unique sexuality, gender and relationship structures and

embodying healthy energy for conscious union and creativity.

Identifying and following your passion and purpose with greater acceptance, appreciation, integrity, joy & love.

 Work With Me

Duration of psychotherapy

I offer one time consultations, short-term and long-term psychotherapy.

Together we can decide the duration and frequency of sessions to meet your goals.

Insurance

There is an exchange in the form of a monetary fee for the time we share together. I accept cash or debit cards, HSA and Flex Spending accounts and the following third-party payers: Medicaid, The Alliance, and Centerstone  Military Services. If you have another insurance, please ask your provider if they will accept an out-of-network provider receipt for services.

How We Begin

First, we will check in by phone before scheduling an appointment. We will briefly discuss your needs and assess if I am the best practitioner for you to work with. If you believe working together is a good choice,

we can make an appointment for your first session.

Please arrive 20 minutes early to your first appointment to complete  intake information forms.

Every person who visits FullBloom has a unique story to tell. During your first session, I will listen deeply to your concerns.  We will talk about what brings you to therapy today, what you expect from our sessions, what your particular needs are, and how I may be of help to you in your path to wellness. We will plan your therapy process together according to your personal needs and desired outcome and expectations.

I am looking forward to helping you through your new journey and growth.

All Identities Are Welcome

All ethnic, cultural, racial, faith, sexual orientation and gender identities are welcome.
